Couuld anyone please explain exactly what is meant by theme and variations in our project.I'm guessing theme is like a common thread through the thing,what is meant by the variations,just to fuck around with or what

I think what she means by the theme is that it is an overall concept. The variations of the theme is more a case of taking the theme and applying it to creating a progression. Then you need to make two variations of the same theme one fast and one slow but as far as i know that doesn't mean that you have to take the same progression and just speed it up or slow it down but instead make two separate progressions one fast and one slow.
